YDG Consulting was founded by Yoni Dobie-Geffen.
I am passionate about enabling individuals and teams to tackle systems change, internally and externally. I pride myself on my skills as a facilitator of authentic dialogue and exploration, and I am dedicated to creating spaces for people to come together to address complex issues through multifaceted solutions that keep people at the center. I am particularly committed to supporting individuals and organizations who share my passion for creating a more equitable, just, and inclusive society. A sampling of my past work includes:
writing and managing a multi-million dollar state grant to reimagine the education system for a tribal community
facilitating a board retreat for a local foundation exploring the opportunities and challenges of increased engagement in advocacy
designing and leading a yearlong systems change fellowship for Colorado nonprofit leaders
facilitating a multi-year collaborative of philanthropic organizations focused on youth wellbeing
advising and training hundreds of leaders in schools and districts across the state on effective practices for family and community engagement

Senior Policy Director at the Keystone Policy Center
Vice President turned Executive Director of Climb Higher Colorado (a coalition bringing together grasstops advocacy organizations with community-based nonprofits to advance equity in education in Colorado)
Co-Founder of Adventure Forward (a nonprofit blending adventure education with academic and social-emotional support for low-income youth and youth of color)
Teacher, Denver Public Schools (elementary and high schools)
Most importantly, I work hard every day to be the best I can be as a partner to my wife and father to three incredible little souls.
